From a Home Garage to a Growing Local HVAC Company
Smith began in 2019 when founder and owner Joe Smith decided to build an HVAC company of his own. Joe's interest in the trade started much earlier, when he took an HVAC elective at a local career-technical facility while in high school. He enjoyed the work and saw the long-term stability the industry could provide, eventually earning his college degree in HVAC.
After spending years building his experience in the trade, Joe started Smith from his home garage. What began as a small operation continued to grow, and in 2021, Joe expanded the business by acquiring what was previously known as Gledhill Heating and Cooling in Bay City.
Today, Smith brings many years of HVAC experience to homes throughout the area. While the company has grown beyond its garage beginnings, the idea behind it has remained the same: give homeowners a dependable team and provide work that is worth the investment.
